2 Cor. 2:14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.
PRAISE GOD we have finally picked up our 2 year Residency cards!!! It took several trips to the mainland but we now are official!
Tish has continued home schooling and is getting ready to start up a new Bible Study. She has also started doing some counseling with some locals and Expats. We are praying through schooling options for the next year. Tish’s mom had a stroke three weeks ago and Tish went to Knoxville to spend time with her. She is going back this coming Saturday for another week to help her transition to home. We are thankful that she is doing great and has no lasting damage. Thank you for all your prayers for her.
Eli has made a full recovery from his concussions. Travis took him to La Ceiba to get his final EEG and we are awaiting the results from that but don't expect any issues. Thank you to all those who prayed for him. We heard of countless groups meeting in churches to lift him up when all seemed very dark. Ella is helping to lead worship with Leilani and Kelly singing and Kenfor playing guitar. She is doing an amazing job and can pick up a new song in minutes. Zachary and Eli have been fishing down at a pier close to the house and have been ministering to some of the locals, inviting them to church and sharing their faith. We praise God that they are also fishers of men! Heather is our most accomplished Spanish speaker now and carried on a 45 minute conversation with a lady the other day. She helps us translate sometimes as the rest of us, especially the grown-ups still struggle.
Travis continues to preach on Sunday at the R Church and has been asked to stay on for the near future as the Interim Pastor. We are tasked with helping to organize it as a Biblical Church and will be taking nominations for elders soon. Pray for our wisdom as we help to get the church organized and grow it to be a light on Roatan and in Honduras. Travis is continuing to meet with several people in the church for counseling and encouragement. We are also getting many comments that hearing the Bible taught is helping them grow spiritually in many ways. The picture above is from our R Church Youth Event this past weekend. It was a blast and we had a great time of fun and ministry!
